Rustling Throb Cloche
Battle YAS 2
Last Surprise

First thing's first, in case you're curious: "Rustling Throb" is, like all of AT2, horribly translated. The "throb" here is a pulse; that is, a heartbeat. Anywho, this is the dungeon music in the final dungeon of Phase 2 (of 5) in Cloche's route, where you're journeying to where Cloche has bottled up her heart because Stuff Happened Repeatedly and you're trying to get her to open up, which is the battle where EXEC_SPHILIA/. plays because AR TONELICO 2 does not stop having good music ever. Anyways if I broke this into paragraphs we'd be a paragraph in and I haven't even talked about the song yet ummm so let's start with the intro, seems appropriate. That heartbeat, that tension, perfectly sets the stage, and then it breaks into awesome chanting with the little deep-doops that keep a constant pulse through the song (hi again song title), but then we get into cool piano stuff and then the baseline does its little doody into these epic chords and it's so good! Then we get to 1:15 and the piano is replaced with chanting it's just so mystical and cool and I could say more but we got five other tracks to listen to today so.

well i definitely feel like I'm running from something you got that right. It's actually a pretty good piece especially once it gets into the main melody at :20 and again around :50 or so but you're literally up against one of my favorite tracks of all time so rip.

HI YAS i've played a lot of you but I somehow never noticed the scales in the background until just now somehow??? anywho I think I like other battle music from the game more but I like how slidy the melody is here. Or legato I guess if I have to use actual words but "legato" doesn't feel right I dunno. Also now the scales are almost obnoxious how did I never really notice them before. Stuff at 1:45 is weirdly creepy which is actually SUPER appropriate for the game which is uhhhhhh man lemme tell you there is a plot twist that I 0% saw coming but that riff super makes me think of it. I should get back to that game at some point and then translate it because I don't have enough projects yet apparently

DGS I love you and the music is super late Meiji/Taishou era Japan which is really cool, but this just doesn't hit the mark. There's a couple of the themes I associate with Holmes that I might support more, but~

Oh hey I was just playing Robotics;Notes DaSH before coming in here to listen to everything to vote. Steins;Gate is kinda sorta straight-up the best game in the series, and this song... has nothing to do with that. I think I liked this more previously but it feels kind of generic nowadays I dunno.

Last Surprise is fun. I really don't have any other way to describe it besides that. I prefer a number of other P5 tracks to it but yeah. I was going to be more negative here and then I was like "why am I being negative this track is *fun* just have fun dowolf" and then I went "you know, that dowolf fella has a good point there." and then I clicked post message
