So I put $80k into Amazon earlier. It was going up nonstop before I invested. Literally the second I put in, it started going down. I held and held. Eventually I said fuck it, and sold for a couple hundred dollar loss. Literally the second I sold it, it began booming. Is it possible that the $80k large amount I put in held the stocks value down, and once I sold is why I went back up? Or was it simply bad timing? Ive seen this happen with every stock I invested in since I put over $70k into them.

If you were playing big enough to impact the market, buying would make it go up and selling would make it go down. But with a company like Amazon 80k is probably not enough to have any impact on it.
