The reason I have $43k to play with now is because: I started with ~$50k in my day trading account but only ever wagered up to $30k since I knew my car cost $19k plus trade-in. Since starting day trading, I made an additional $7k. So you take $50k and subtract $19k, that comes to $31k. Then you add the $7k and that comes to $38k.
