| LordoftheMorons 04/02/20 9:12:07 PM #485: | It's right that the federal stockpile is not meant to provide all of the PPE we need to get through a crisis of this magnitude, but it does need to be used to get the states through this period until production can be ramped up. And it is absolutely the federal government's role to be ensuring that PPE is being made in sufficient quantities now and to handle procurement and distribution so that 50 states aren't getting into a bidding war over the same masks and ventilators (and to ensure that there aren't millions of masks sitting in a closet in one city while doctors are reusing a single mask for a week in another). --- Congrats to Advokaiser for winning the CBX Guru Challenge! ...
