There is some possibility that the numbers coming out of Hubei are relatively accurate and show the efficiency of China in imposing extreme quarantining and deploying resources to build hospitals but the numbers for the rest of China are impossibly low. I think an easy way to do it would be to simply diagnose coronavirus cases as flu, which is the same thing China has accused the US of doing.
