I'd hesitate to say great - most of the characters are two dimensional and I don't get much out of its meta-fictional commentary, but the music and the combat design are solid, and having characters comment on your save-scumming is a cute idea for a game like that. I am buttdevastated about the 2015 contest though. I get buttdevastated when things I find fun become unfun. I mean I get ya. Undertale ruined the 2015 contest.
