There's fan favorites like the Swordmaster and Warrior(I also like how the recruit characters in FE8 have clumsy crit animations to show their inexperience), but mages critting had some nice touches too. Combine that with the longer tome animations for endgame magic and it really added to the "impact" of the spells. ...Unfortunately that also includes when you're the one getting critted. Like just look at how long Lyon makes you watch your character die if he gets a crit.
