Basically, before the Olympics were delayed, the numbers were low and things were seemingly under control. Then, the Olympics were officially delayed, and then, THE NEXT DAY, suddenly the numbers started spiking and each day is a record high for consecutive days. There are talks of a lockdown as well in Tokyo.
