You need to soak it in warm water before using it, you need some water based lub every time and after you're done, you need to clean it and dry it. Before long it becomes a chore and you're back to using your hand for the convenience. This was my experience. It did feel incredibly good at times, but not worth the additional effort tbh. Also, depending on your living situation (with parents, roommates, or even a judgmental partner) it's not exactly discreet if someone happens to stumble across it haha. If you've got some spare coin you should just treat yourself though.
