People of China don't get a chance to vote for a dumbass like Trump. They don't get to have a dumb opinion on a subject like TC does about how he thinks people don't get what Trump's agenda is. Trump literally talks about the Coronavirus like it's some conspiracy to make his presidency look bad. It's not some big secret But China managed to curb the epidemic by enforcing pretty strict rules on the citizens til things blew over. It was undeniably effective and will overall result in far less people dead and their economies the least affected, but that's the extent of the advantages of an authoritarian government. For us, we enjoy freedom to be dumbasses then suffer when some catastrophe happens that requires discipline and organization to stave off.
