In JP, he never had a banner, just showed up in the coin shop. If you pull a dupe of a unit, you get a coin of their rarity where you can exchange for other units or mats. Banners in the game last 1 week. On the maintenance notes before the next banner, they state that "Green Ban may be coming to the coin shop at a later date". Also on his banner page, it stated he'd be added to the regular draw pool after his banner ends. Maintenance hits, Ban isn't in the shop OR the regular draw pool and people start freaking. Everyone is doomsaying, saying global is being shafted, how could they not put him in the shop, etc. Every other topic on the subreddit was someone whining and thinking they were saying something different, to review bomb the game, etc. People even went to the gachagaming subreddit with their complaints, saying anyone who wasn't complaining about it were white knights. It was honestly fucking annoying. Within a few days, I'm guessing netmarble noticed this and gave a public apology about the misunderstanding. They even revealed that units would be put into the coin shop 2 weeks after their banner ends. And people still had the gall to cry more and say that they needed to be compensated. --- ...
