SSBU > TLOU

I haven't been in touch with the last 10 years, I found that out in a hurry.

I'm biased towards TLOU because it's the most recent game I've played. The overall presentation and story was top-notch. There's a sequel coming out, so maybe that will help. It seems like it might have stood out this decade. I only played it, what, 7 years after it came out. PS3 version. So it would have been even better when it first came out.

I honestly think I spent more time debating round 1 matches than the chances SSBU beats BOTW. I figured SSBU will have a high floor, just because it can potentially draw many votes just from its wide range of characters. I don't know exactly how beloved BOTW was, but I've seen enough negative comments about it that I guessed it might not be a slam dunk. Then again, Majora's Mask....

Brawl was outright stronger than MM in that contest...it just got antivoted a bit and LoZ just has better fan support from the Nintendo community. Even if MM is a 2nd tier Zelda at best.

IF you've followed Gfaqs at all these past years or the Switch board you'd realize the Monster BOTW actually is. IT would SFF Smash handily and its base strength is considerably larger to begin with.

Nothing is stopping BOTW except a rally from a 3rd party game like Witcher. And i say witcher only because it has modern brand recognition and developers openly admitting they'll rally for it if they are presented with contests. Nintendo's own fanbase isn't going to choose Smash over BOTW.
