| Touch 03/28/20 7:06:32 AM #52: | So I'm on the Persona 5 subreddit and someone made a meme about BTS and Persona. Saw the comment section and holy shit it's kinda crazy the hate Kpop gets. Lots of people acting like all Kpop fans are the same and trying so hard to justify their hate and toxicity towards the genre. Without trying to sound too corny/cringy, I really appreciate Kpop for what it does to me musically. I used to have a background in music, being in band from 4th to 12th grade, but I kinda gave up on it after high school. Kpop reminded me that music is a universal language and you don't necessarily need to know the actual spoken language to sometimes get the feel and mood of the actual music. And then in some certain songs, once you look up the actual lyrics, it hits a certain way that some Western stuff doesnt. I'll prolly get slammed for this but whatevs lol --- ...
