He passed away at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, North Carolina after complications with double pneumonia while getting the coronavirus He fallen ill while traveling with a ministery to New Orleans with his wife and caught the virus from one of the people he traveled with at the ministry He's described as a "traveling musicial minister" and "fine guitarist" as he was going to New Orleans with his wife and family with a group of parishioners to "wash it from its sin and debauchery" On March 13, the Evangelist shared a meme suggesting the covid-19 deaths were comparable to swine flu and that most of them wouldn't die from it and the media is making it worse than it is. He said the virus was built up by the liberal media and democrats to "hurt" Donald Trump and whole acknowledged the pandemic was a "real issue" he said the media was hyping it up out of fear and doing more harm than good by shutting down the country and that the virus will "come and go" and everyone, including HIMSELF will be fine!! He shared another post about a missionary in South africa who "protected" himself from Black Death with the SPIRIT OF GOD that said "As long as i walk in the light of that law, no germ will attach itself to me" as he warned all Christians to confess their sins and God will SPARE THEM On March 17, the family returned home from Louisiana because Landon was feeling unwell as he thought it was BRONCHITIS and a mild cause of pnuemonia and thought nothing of it...and claimed he tested NEGATIVE for it in New Orleans But he started becoming weaker on a car ride home and his family stopped in North Carolina as his wife pulled over to yell for help from passerbys as she said when he got out of the car he CRUMPLED to the ground Bystanders called emergency services where he was taken to hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 and subsequently died at 4am on March 25th He's described as a "powerful soul-blues voice" and was a "significant part of the Roanoke-area blues scene".
