Everyone should have money, though it's not possible for everyone. If you own a house that you live it, you want to have extra money. But you might not be able to save any. But you're trying. And that's fine. Same with renting. But if you want to own 3 houses that you're paying on just to rent them out (Especially the ones that rent at much higher than they're worth), then you should be able to afford them in case nobody lives there for a month. The difference between them and first people I mentioned was they are trying to live within their means. Buying one house to live in. Where the landlord is buying multiple houses just to rent. I personally think they should be able to afford them if they want to do that. And have money for all the fixes the tenants needs, as it is usually their responsibility. You can disagree. But after being on both sides, that's how I feel...
