That said, there are countless lives at stake here, so the longer we can stave off the spread via social distancing, the better. A lot of people in places where it's not so bad yet don't seem to realize that the whole reason for distancing is to keep it that way. It'd be like if you have to walk through a thorn bush and you say "what do I need this heavy coat for?
