Greetings! I'm ZeldaTPLink, and I will be this year's host to one of B8's classic side contests, the Battle Challenge, a.k.a. Streak Contest.

For those who don't know, here is how this works: Like in all other contests, you must predict match winners right. However, getting consecutive ones right matters the most. Whenever you get one match right, you earn 100 points. Get the next one, and you earn another 200. Then 300, 400, etc. But if you get a single match wrong, you lose everything that you have earned!

Unless you skip a match, that is. If you don't make a prediction for a match, everything you have earned in your current streak will go to your Bank Account and will stay there permanently. Your streak will then start over next match, with the first match being worth 100 again. You can also bank your streak by typing the word BANK in place of a match's prediction.

Here's an example, with 6 matches:

In this example, if you get the first 3 matches right, you earn 100+200+300 = 600. Then you chose to skip the 4th match, so you banked those 600. If you get the next two, you earn 100 + 200 = 300. Then you can keep going, or bank them eventually.

Whoever has the most points at the end, including the bank plus the current streak, will win this contest!

RULES (make sure you read before posting):

1) Please post the matches in the bracket's order, and with the same names as they are in the bracket. I will post them here for easier copypaste. Names posted wrong won't necessarily be invalid, but will greatly annoy me as I will have to fix your mistake manually. I reserve the right to ignore submissions that are not clear enough because of the format.

2) All predictions must be made before the usual start time of that match's poll (at exactly 12:00 AM GMT/UTC). Predictions submitted after this time will NOT be counted. No predictions will be accepted after the poll has started, regardless of the start time. If you miss a prediction, your current streak will be automatically banked.

3) You may change your prediction for any match at any time, subject to the other rules. To do so, post

CHANGE X to Y, Round Z (with X and Y being the game names, and Z the corresponding round).

Or post your while list again. Just be clear what you are changing. Again, I reserve the right to ignore changes that are not clear enough.

4) You may NOT delete any post in a prediction topic (if you do, please post immediately after to explain the deletion). This is to prevent abuse of the above rules and to reduce confusion. If there is demand, I may create a separate discussion thread for this.

5) If you have made a mistake with any of your predictions, please don't edit or delete your post. Simply make another post with your corrected predictions (subject to the above rules).

6) If you post with an alt, you must clearly state the name of your main account.

7) You can post matches all at once, or in batches, however you prefer. You can post predictions for matches whose prior round winners haven't been decided yet, but make sure you change them in time if you are wrong. Conditional picks will be accepted for quarterfinals and beyond, in order to make that easier.

8) I reserve the right to disqualify a pick for any justifiable reason. I may also add new rules if necessary.
