Star Ocean was a bigtime reach. the Guru suggests that not a single person picked Star Ocean over Pokemon Oh, nobody actually picked it because it was Star Ocean, but the fact that someone could plausibly entertain it (even if it was Heroic Mario) says a lot about our opinion of the series at the time. Also, my one big upset pick that very nearly panned out was Street Fighter > Resident Evil. Now granted, it would've felt a little dirty because I know it only would've won because RE literally had a Gaiden match pic, but I'd have taken it! --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
