Undertale vs. Octopath Traveler

Game I've played #4! Now, it will be sad to watch Undertale get destroyed. Let me elaborate.

There will be rally fear. I think it's even less warranted than Fortnite, though. It's been 5 years. Undertale is not "in" anymore. And before someone yells "But Deltarune!", I have to point that that game still hasn't been released, except for a demo, and it's been 2 years since that, too. There's just no hype. Now watch out for Deltarune in Best Game Ever 4, though, because that game looks like it's going to be fucking great. But it needs to come out first.

Ok, so taking rallies aside, the actual match. Look at this:

No matter what, Amaterasu is not the kind of character who puts 88% onto anyone. I think Tanner would do better than Draven did here.

There is a trend here, and the trend is GameFAQs likes its revenge best served cold. Octopath is strong? Hell no. But we will get behind anything to avenge our site's honor. We got behind a dog. We'll do with a cute RPG. This could get ugly, and will probably distort the xstats in the end.

Shovel Knight vs. Dragon's Dogma

I googled DD. It looks cool. It also looks like something people probably forgot about since 2012, though. Shovel Knight is widely regarded as one of the best indies ever made. Indies are a synonym for weakness here, but that should be enough to beat Dragon's Dogma.

WInner: SK

Devil May Cry 5 vs. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

DMC is strong, as Dante showed in the last contest. But the DKC5 is a cult classic at this point, and Donkey Kong boosted in strength last contest. When in doubt, go with Nintendo. The doubt will not go away, though.

Winner: Tropical Freeze

Super Mario Odissey vs. Mortak Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat could do some damage in this bracket with better positioning. It's not beating what might be the most beloved Mario game of this century, though.
