Monster Hunter: World vs. Bravely Default: Flying Fairy

Monster Hunter is one of those franchises that have a huge fanbase but that same fanbase is kind of disconnected from the rest of the gaming universe, like the people who play it play A LOT of Monster Hunter but not much else. My senses tell me to have it lose to the first midcarder it runs into. But I don't think Flying Fairy is that game. Bravely Default was huge once, but damn, 2012 was a long time ago. The other game has an actual living board in GameFAQs. I'll take Monster Hunter.

So the former game is some kind of Ninja Gaiden. The lead looks badass. The later is a DS/PS3 RPG. The lead does not look badass. But this is an otaku site. I think it wishes it had something like a cute pomeranian, though, not just some kid.

Yes, I'm taking picture here. And seed. And recency (one game is from 2019 and the other is from 2010. Sure, this is OldFAQs, but 2010 is not the good kind of old). Watch me be wrong and there is a huge Ki no Kuni fanbase somewhere, or something. But common sense says pick Sekiro.
