However other parties would try to make the weakest representative the opposing candidate to pit against their best. And that's the thing. In other elections, that makes more sense. Though, both sides could do it. But in this case, it's a little different. Because the republicans side can use Trump, meaning that in this case, couldn't republicans register as democrats and vote the worst person as it is. It sort of makes more sense if both sides had multiple picks because why waste a vote on the other side when you need your vote to make sure you choice gets nominated.
