you're just digging in your heels the way you're always accusing others of doing, I think in most contexts you would pretty readily admit that someone who knows more isn't always the person who is best at speaking about it

Not always, and I didn't say that was the case, but the relationship is certainly there, and usually pretty strong. And in the case of a presidential candidate, where it's really the only way I can see [any] evidence of the candidate's actual thoughts, it seems relatively important.

It just seems like people Bernie doesn't need to be good at this shit, because we know he's good. But, you know what, I want our president to be able to think on his or her feet. Seems like quick decision making is one of the most hazardous responsibilities we give the president.
