Song: Besaid Island Game: Final Fantasy X Composer: Masashi Hamauzu Nominator: azuarc Score: 78 (4.2/4.4/2.2/4.8) Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxJE6SSX-aw classic final fantasy video game music moment this is music i think is pretty not sounding like an island at all. i think it sounds like your inside of the big space science lab that has ambiguity regarding its good/evil alignment but is portrayed in a positive light at this point in the story i like the parts a lot wher it does not go Wub Wub especially 1:46 because thats got fake strings which make the song sound a lot more Contemporary Uplifting Emotional stock music but its cooler because theres actually chords and ostinato happening yeah another thing i like the synthy ostinato a lot...1:28 is also cool but a lot graver because of the removal of any backing aside from scary bass and dissonant bell on the first downbeat of everymeasure compared to the ffx hd remake version...i like this better! that one is a lot more melancholy which i appreciate but this is more pleasant to listen to --- ...
