Oh this is easy - their road trip is at best going to be 2-3, meaning they'll maybe sputter out a win streak into the trade deadline that puts them within a few points of the playoffs. That'll convince Bowman not to sell on Lehner, Gustaffson, whoever, then after the deadline the Blackhawks will go on a four game losing streak that effectively torpedoes their season. They did this act last season too. Few games where maaaaybe they might pull it together, only to crap their pants.
