I'm not saying people can't change and come around on transgender people, but there are big warning signs of those who keep quiet because they know they don't have a leg to stand on on the subject of transgender people in general, yet converge like a plague on these topics in particular because they finally have a "virtuous" angle from which to fuel their dislike.
