Almost certainly an idiot. But I don't necessarily discount that maybe he knew a little bit of column b would come into play.

It is not a secret that people simply learning Pete is gay is damaging to him.

Its probably slightly more damaging than people learning Bernie is a Jew.

Unfortunately for Warren and Klobuchar they have done a poor job of hiding that they are women.
