Everything Shokin said--just like everything you have said--was a complete lie, and documents provided by the assistant prosecutor general to Shokin at the time, Vitaly Kasko, backs that up. Legal documents provided to US news agencies show that he was not investigating corruption.
Kasko's statement indicates the exact opposite of Shokin. Unlike Shokin, he provided legal documents that proved his claims. Kasko has since been re-appointed.
All other members of the office of the prosecutor general--former and current--have made clear that Hunter Biden was never a subject of the 15 investigations against Burisma. Their position is in direct opposition to Shokin, and Kasko has provided documents that prove it; ergo, evidence has been presented by Ukraine that Shokin was lying.
The actual subject of the investigation was that the owner of the company, Zlochevsky, was also in the Ukranian government prior to 2014, and used his position in government to hand his company resource contracts, evade taxes, and launder money. All of the investigations that were on Shokin's desk--dormant--covered the time period before Hunter was hired. This is documented, this is proven, this has been confirmed by the former, current, and deputy prosecutor general of Ukraine. They all say the opposite of what Shokin says.
Specifically, an opinion piece whose main source was Shokin, the guy who was fired after pressure from Biden. He's the least reliable source on the matter possible--nothing to lose, axe to grind, no evidence and no vetting of his statement's reliability (which is why his comments are in opinion pieces only).
You wrote all of that and didnt actually EXPLICITLY say what Shokin lied about. All you're doing is hiding your lack of argument in a wall of text that's not relevant to the ONE thing, I'm referring to.
You can certainly prove me wrong. State the EXACT lies that Shokin made. ACTUAL QUOTES.
