Reminds me, I used to have a coworker who other coworkers nicknamed him by pluralizing his last name, ie. so it would be like "the Smiths". Why? because the dude just constantly has full blown, loud, lengthy conversations with himself, to the point of being oblivious to other people trying to talk to him. I never asked him why, and when I asked coworkers about it, the only answer was he's weird. I've never seen anyone call him out on his abnormal behavior.
