Bro i actually read a lot of that, and it makes some really good points. I am all about sentencing and bail reform. The system is fucked up. And it does benefit people who have money. Not exactly surprising.

But as to the point I was making? That poor people are just victims getting bull dogged by the system? Horseshit. Hell yea its unfair sometimes, but a lot of those people are guilty as Fuck. If you have a bond of several thousand dollars, you are already probably involved in some crazy shit. Ive seen so many guilty people get off after sitting in jail for awhile.

Poor people have a ton of rights here. Right to counsel, remain silent, speedy trial, witnesses. Yea getting locked up sucks. But what the Hell did those people do that got them there in the first place? How come a majority of citizens live their lives without ever dealing with police and incarceration?

For profit prisons and predatory probation guidelines make me Sick, and I could say a lot about that. But acting like the entire system is rotten? I dont believe that. Ive seen too many extra chances and too many people skating through the cracks.
