Did you actually read the article dude? Its actually a really fucked up case. First of all, the girl got her 4 kids taken away by the state for supposedly drug abuse. And since the dude she shot was high on meth when he died, its a safe bet she had used meth in the past too. Ive seen that a lot.

They didnt find the guys dna on her bedding or her, although they did find another mans. The rape test could not conclude she had been raped. She passed a note to a cashier saying shed been beaten yet there was a cop IN the store while she was there and she said nothing. Possibly because she wss high and didnt want to talk to a cop? Lots of people dont trust cops when they probably should. Like when youve just been assaulted or raped then you drive with the guy to the store to buy him cigarettes?? Then she had her brother go back to the store to get the note, and when he read she had been physically assaulted (not raped) he came to the house with a gun.

She originally told the 911 dispatcher her brother shot the guy. And she again didnt mention being raped. Big missed oppurtunity.

So im not defending the meth head that did actually beat and strangle her. Theres proof of that. But from a legal point of view, shes lied and changed her story a lot and it looks bad. She made very bad choices across the board. And I get that she may have been scared and ashamed and thats why she didnt bring up the rape. Because I know rape victims and thats actually a surprisingly common thing. But the people she was associating with and her choices were suspect. Id also be curious to know if they drug tested her, it doesnt say in the article. Cuz they should have. And she shot the guy 4 times. Its very weird.
