I love that despite them mentioning parents and adults, you never actually see them. Just the kids. That's part of what I love about it. It was a whole neighborhood that was oddly isolated and there was no real explaination for it. There's something about the creepy suburban neighborhood trope that I've always been a sucker for. Even when they start going to school it's odd but I love it. What I love about it even more is that there are constant implications that others are around. We just don't see them. --- ...
