This could make AC:NL the favorite thus far on the surface, but also we have question marks here since Underrale beat ME3 that same day as this and LiS's matvh. I'm also not banking on there being a lot of Nintendo SFF between a '90s console platformer and a '10s handheld build-a-town simulator. New Leaf was under 16% on Super Mario World before Undertale kicked in, and Tom Nook's 2013 results should definitively prove that it's not that weak on its own merits. Plus, New Leaf's fanbase is not exactly independent from most other Nintendo games. It's also worth noting that X appeared to SFF Isabelle and Kirby appeared to SFF Phoenix in 2018, even though both those pairs have further separated appeal than SMW and New Leaf. --- "I believe in a universe that doesn't care, and people who do."
