"Bless your Heart", when used in a certain way here in the south basically means "You are such a stupid asshole all I can do is pity you". They are only effective if they make the others angry. I put them right there with "OK Boomer" and " Yes Dear". Personally I haven't ever heard "Jesus loves you" as a comeback but if it makes someone mad then it probably served its purpose.
