It's one of the difficulties I had playing Harvest Moon. After I get married there's basically nothing else I want to do (maybe wait until I have a kid), but since there's no stopping point AND I would feel wasteful and discouraged to start over from zero, I just...abandon the game. And that doesn't feel very good. Not sure yet. I will say that there's still stuff to do and farming is still fun and there's still story and artifacts and lots of stuff to do after marriage. It's not like, say, Harvest Moon 64 where once you're married, everyone else is married, and the dialogue never ever changes ever again, and no one is at the bar at night, and.... sigh.
