Just to build one is less complicated than some lego sets, and there are literally thousands of people online who have already typed up guides to any pc problem you'll ever have.That's great for you and me who choose to take an advanced step into our hobby. Most people will never want to build their electronics. It is an effort even if it is not the biggest effort. It is more than "take out of box, plug in, get same experience as everyone else" and is therefore more than most people can be bothered. I don't even mean that in a derogatory way. There's nothing wrong with that and it's why many things people can buy are pre-assembled with little setup or maintenance. There is no way you are actually surprised by that --- ...
