I dont think that they are homophobic, but have to act that way because of who they are and the people around them. If you arent showing hate towards them, people will usually automatically assume youre gay. Which is not what they want. And even the gay ones have to act like that, but are on the DL. So, you may think someones homophobic, but they are really a DL gay guy who acts that way to hide it. And people dont realize that. So, I agree with what averagejoel said: averagejoel posted... I will not believe that black people are more homophobic than the general population until I see some major large-scale study that says they are. Also: Garioshi posted... Yes, because both of your poll options say that "blacks" are homophobic. I agree with this, as well... In conclusion, as a black, gay male, I dont think blacks are the most homophobic groups out there.
