I'm glad they showed that Violet was able to accept that Gilbert is gone, and I'm even gladder that they didn't do a surprise twist where he was alive all along with amnesia or something (although I guess that tease at the end gives you hope that he was still alive and she found him, but I'll live with that). It's better that they showed she has the resolve to live life without him. So yeah, good show overall! If you like something that tugs at your heartstrings like Clannad does (although it's not as good as Clannad, certainly), it's worth a watch. Time to update the female character rankings 2.0!
