Games with difficulty options are meant to be played on the highest difficulty for your first playthrough, not the second when you know how to min max and know the strategy for every boss.

But there's nothing wrong with playing lower difficulty's, I just don't get why people would want the second playthrough to be the one with frustrating parts to see the out come of different decisions/alternate endings when they could easily get past the parts they already did and see the parts they didn't faster by playing on the easiest difficulty.

Its a problem when you have to play normal before unlocking the highest difficulty

Fire emblem 6 has an amazing hard mode but to unlock it you need to beat it in normal

Fire emblem 7's hector hard mode is the definitive way to play but its hidden behind TWO playthroughs
