It took 23 tournaments, but this marks the first victory for a #15 seed, and the second-biggest upset of all time seeding-wise in any of these tournaments. Devotion joins Goat Simulator, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, The Witness, Hyper Light Drifter, Cool Boarders 2, and Bomberman 64 as fellow #14 seeds to advance to the 2nd round after a big upset over Slay the Spire. Borderlands 3 nearly avoids being upset, and we get expected blowouts from KH3 and Control.
