I mean...I would think most people wouldn't see anybody's flushing habits in a public stall in general...

Also, one of the advantages says it waste less water. But I believe that to be false... Also, not really sure if its more handicap accessible...
Yeah, it's complete bs. Most of the links I posted, plus a ton of others that validate my gripe about constant flushing, mention that they actually use far more water than manual flush toilets due to the extra flushes. Sometimes the article is just listing off industry-claimed benefits of them before tearing them down later on with facts and studies.

I never said you dreamed it up. I was saying I never heard of it. Nor, have I ever seen articles before today, or a broken toilet handle...
It's fine. Now you know. I didn't know that was a thing either until years ago when I griped about how much I hated auto flush toilets and asked why companies even install them, and was told about the handle-kicking craziness.
