Out of the last dozen or so games I bought about a third of them aren't on PC at all. Of the ones that are, there's always the risk of finding the game I bought is worthless because it conflicts with a driver I do or don't own, or it doesn't run on the version of Windows I'm currently using, or that the PC port is buggy and inferior to the console versions (WB's pulled this one multiple times). I own multiple PC games I've never been able to play. I never had that problem with my consoles.

And then there's the fact that, if you don't want to use either Steam or Epic, your game options on PC are even more curtailed.

I can name far more reasons why I don't want to game on a PC ever than I can reasons why I would ever want to. This has been the case for nearly 25 years, and I don't really see it changing any time in the next generation or two. Hell, nearly all the things I dislike about modern console gaming stem from their attempts to be more like PC.

I'd argue the opposite. Getting a gaming level PC has always been far more work than just buying a console off a shelf, setting one up involves a greater degree of effort, and the end result has you sitting at a desk rather than on a couch with your TV (yes, a PC can be set up to run off a TV, but it's never as natural as a console that just plugs and plays). In addition, controlling the PC winds up being more awkward as well, since while you can feasibly tie the whole thing into a controller, the default assumption is mouse/keyboard, which doesn't work as naturally when you're not at a desk (and which I loathe as gaming inputs regardless).

Oh. Ohhhhhhhhh.

Sorry. I didn't really you were one of those people. Surprised you didn't spell Microsoft with an $ somewhere in there, then chuckle to yourself about how clever and rebellious you are. You stick it to those bastards, you brave iconoclast!

I'll stop trying to discuss the issue with you as if you were an actual adult, and as if this wasn't just a trolling topic. It'd just be a waste of both our time, honestly.
Clearly you don't have what it takes to do you're homework (i don't blame you, homework sucks) but if you did you could've found remedies to your problems easily. Oh well so be it, nothing but excuses from a console pleb. Have fun on you're limited console.
