This demo doesn't see a big difference between Bernie and Warren because they are safely insulated from the differences. They typically fetis***e highly educated women and go "ew" at a shouty old white man.

i'm pretty sure the reason we don't see a big difference between them is that none of the things you listed (for either warren or sanders) will be enacted if they're elected, because senate republicans will not pass any legislation that does it and democrats will not retake the senate, possibly ever again. at the current rate we'd need CA to split into 30 states, each with the population of a dakota, to have a real shot of holding the senate long enough to both pass and solidify real policy.

what we want is a responsible progressive in the white house who will appoint good judges that won't use originalism as an excuse to harm the spirit of the republic, and who will fix the damage done to the executive branch by trump and his appointees

if that's sanders, great

if that's warren, great

the perfect is the enemy of the good. i'd prefer bernie above all, but warren is an absolutely acceptable alternative to me and unlike bernie, she's written a great deal of legislation that describes what she'd actually be doing. sanders has done his due diligence in the area of greatest concern--healthcare--but not in others. i'd prefer both strongly above biden.

i'd prefer any of the three over trump.

also, i think it's clear that warren chose this offensive path in recognition that without it she'll likely continue to lose ground as establishment dems drop out and their supporters back biden/sanders. it's an effort to win over female voters looking for their next best choice. female voters who probably don't give a damn about policy if their preferred candidate was maryanne williamson.

i don't like it, but i support warren because i align with her on policies (many of which are not on your list), not because i think she is a wonderful person who i'd have brunch with. ditto for sanders.
