Look at his bumper stickers, they're mostly political, until you see the "south of the border" one. There's nothing political about it, it's just one of those offensive stereotypes for mexicans (lazy dude sleeping with a blanket and a sombrero, taco bell-like font, etc), mixed with their political ideology stickers.. voila! It IS racist after all... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_of_the_Border_(attraction) it's a pretty famous roadside stop on I-95 that you see billboards for long before you ever get there. it's dated for sure and contains offensive stereotypes, but it's one of those more "accidentally racist" places that date back decades rather than a full-blown "Mexicans are lazy" thing.
