Mega Man 5 beated

The one thing I will say in its favor is that there's a noticeable uptick in production values here. The stages are much more colorful and really distinct in a way that the previous entries were not. They almost start to feel like Mega Man X stages with how much they're able to get them to reflect the nature of the Robot Master. However, I also think this is kind of around the point where they stopped being able to come up with robot types that made sense and just started coming up with silly ones, Charge Man being the foremost offender here. And again, the game really does feel more about the action and combat than it does the platforming, so it still feels really easy. This was definitely the easiest set of Wily battles in the series. Enemy attack patterns feel really limited and predictable, even with Wily. The Dark Man fights were pretty tough, so there's that, but yeah, it just feels like they're starting to lose their touch with this one. Plus, the charged Buster is super powerful here, which is almost a good thing because a lot of the Robot Master powers suck and aren't that useful, even against the bosses that are weak to them. So yeah, definitely the weakest one so far. I'd even put it below 1.
