You can probably use save states on PC, but I can't say for sure because I'm on PS4. Like Mead, I only played a little of it and got discouraged by the save system. Haven't played it in weeks, they may have patched it Thats definitely it let a weird way to make a game. Though, I do know other games have had weird saves, as well... That would probably discourage me a little.
