Regarding the whole Honkai Impact collab thing, I'm sure there are some players here that are unfamiliar with why there are no plans to run it outside CN. I'm sure you guys know about Honkai Impact 3rd, right? The collab was about the 2nd game in the series (you can still play it, even in English, under the name Guns GirlZ - Mirage Cabin/Honkai Gakuen). After the collab was launched on CN, there was a falling out between the two companies, which resulted in the owners of Honkai annulling the agreement and pulling the plug on the possibility of the collab taking place on any other server. It's not discussed but it most likely will never be run again, on any server, unless the two companies make up and form a new agreement. Honkai 2 is also a pretty old game by this point, so there's that to consider.

The other major upset regarding a collab was with SEGA on doing a Valkyria Chronicles collab. Sunborn/Mica Team had all of the event assets done and was ready to launch but were having trouble regarding the contract with SEGA over "penalties for violating the contract". SEGA had it written that, if they violated the contract, they only had to pay a penalty once and could still continue under the agreement (which would effectively screw Mica Team over had it stuck). Mica Team asked them over and over to change the contract to "have to pay up every time the contract is violated" and, while SEGA agreed, they never amended the contract to reflect that and kept dicking around with Mica Team. Right before the collab was to launch, Mica/Sunborn had to pull the plug on it due to the whole matter to protect themselves since SEGA wouldn't change the contract to more fair terms. As I've heard it, a lot of big companies over there pull stunts like this a lot with their contracts, trying to create one-sided agreements instead of playing fair.

That was back in late 2018. Instead of that event, Mica Team got the rights to re-run the Guilty Gear x Blazblue collab and went with that on the older servers as a filler. The Valkyria Chronicles collab is also known as "the collab we don't talk about".

Then there's the issue of why Girls' Frontline is called Dolls' Frontline over in Japan...but that's another story.
