KamikazePotato 01/09/20 11:21:45 PM #177: | Paratroopa1 posted... I tried Fire Emblem Heroes, by the way - I had that same early phase where the game just felt too boring to be interesting, and I thought, maybe this game gets more interesting if I stay with it, but I really have time for only one gacha in my life, and I've decided to make it PAD. I really don't need another one.FEH was pretty fun for a while honestly, but Nintendo was obviously caught off-guard by how popular it got and they never got it to a point where it was consistently producing interesting content. At a certain point I realized I wasn't having fun...then I played for another four months, because being able to recognize the sunk cost fallacy at work doesn't make it easy to avoid it. I never became a whale for that game but even if I wasn't investing money, I was investing time that could be better spent doing other things. Once I managed to extricate myself from that self-imposed hole, I got a lot better at free time management in general. I avoid Lizard Brain Games (mostly), and don't wait for things to 'get good' anymore, or finish a piece of media just for the sake of finishing it. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. ...
