it's almost like the people who think Pokemon should be better than a pile of shit on a plate are right, or something? call me crazy here, but there's probably a reason that argument comes up so often

and sword/shield might be pretty long, since they're pokemon, but it's still incredibly lazily done and almost every area is just a straight path to the next area, plot points just come and go with no buildup, etc

"they gave us mediocrity before" isn't an excuse to accept more of it at double the price
