This is like bad online gaming for 2010. Instead we have to generate our own four digit code, and with thousands of others playing at the same time and only 9999 lines, obviously some are going to get crossed. It doesn't help that the person you're trading with's name is hidden behind the stat screen, so it's easy to assume you connected with your friend.
