I honestly wasn't even sure if this one would qualify for the list because of timing restrictions, but it first aired in January 2010, so it makes it on cleanly. Brotherhood does not have a weak opening, but my favourite of the bunch (Golden Time Lover by Sukima Switch) didn't qualify for the list, so I thought I would at least mention that much. In any case, the song is incredible (as always), everything after 45 seconds is just gorgeous action... it's not something one has the luxury of skipping. That leaves my top 20, which were an absolute pain to sort out. At one time or another I'd have considered them for my OP of the decade, but naturally they separate and shake out when you make a massive list to compare them all to.
